Songkran (Thai New Year)

April 13-15

The world's most famous water festival! For three days, the entire country transforms into a giant water fight to celebrate the Thai New Year. It's also a time of purification and respect for elders.

Loy Krathong

November (Full moon)

The festival of lights! Thousands of floating lanterns (krathong) are placed on rivers and canals to honor the water goddess and rid oneself of bad luck. A magical and romantic spectacle.
